Carbon Laser Peel

Carbon Laser Peel

What is Carbon Laser Peel?

The Carbon Laser Peel also known as the ‘China Doll Peel’ (named for its porcelain doll like finish to the skin) is an innovative laser resurfacing treatment that utilises focused light beams to treat skin imperfections. The Carbon Laser Peel works to restore skin balance whilst promoting a fresh and even glow. As the treated skin regenerates, the appearance of uneven spots and pigment are visibly clearer and more uniform in texture.

You can get a Carbon Laser Peel from any of our laser clinics.

What Does Carbon Laser Peel Treat?

Uneven skin tone, congested skin and pigmentation which can develop for a number of different reasons including, sun damage, inflammation, hormonal changes, acne and reaction to some medications. At Australian Laser & Skin Clinics we provide a selection of intensive treatments that target these unwanted skin concerns. The Carbon Laser Peel is the latest innovation to deliver long-lasting results*.

How Does the Treatment Work?

The Carbon Laser Peel treatment works by applying a thin layer of carbon to the skin’s surface. Once evenly distributed, a focused light beam is emitted for a precise and targeted area. The carbon particles actively absorb the light before a vacuum suction gently removes them, along with damaged cells found in the upper layers of the skin.

The simultaneous generation of thermal energy stimulates the synthesis of fresh collagen and the promotion of a healthy-looking complexion*. Skin structure is visibly strengthened and even opened pores purified and cleared*.

Post Treatment

There is no downtime following a Carbon Laser Peel with results appearing even following one session. A course of treatments are recommended depending on your skin condition and desired results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often and how many Carbon Laser Peel treatments do I need?

At Australian Laser & Skin Clinics we recommend spacing out treatments between 2-3 weeks, this timeframe allows regeneration of collagen and elastin of skin tissue. Effectiveness of the treatment will determine on the individual however a course of 2-6 treatments* will produce superior results. Maintenance treatments after your initial course are recommended every 1-3 months*.

Are there potential side effects?

Side effects are minimal with slight redness and tingling a few hours post treatment. Temporary hair removal to the treated area can occur and some individuals may experience mild outbreak the week following the treatment.

Does it hurt?

There is no pain with the Carbon Laser Peel treatment. During the procedure you may experience slight tingling and warmth on the skin, which is normal while the laser zaps away the thin layer of Carbon.
